Yes, we're all stuck at home and social distancing.
Does that mean we get depressed and feel sorry for ourselves or can we look at this time as an opportunity to grow?
It's time to take matters into our own hands and do things that better our lot in life.
This is your chance to get healthy, find focus, boost your energy levels, and choose the life you want.
I've been inspired to teach this course as I've witnessed so much psychological distress in the community since quarantine hit.
The funny thing is that before this pandemic, most people were complaining about not having enough time. Now they've got too much of it on their hands. Which one is it?
Now is the time to pick up a meditation practice. Now is the time to do your yoga and get fit. Now is the time to catch your breath and reinvent yourself. Now is the time to take care of YOU.
Resilience happens on a cellular level but it's also built into your character. You need to work on your mindset and create an operating system that supports a stronger version of you.
There is a better way...
A way for you to not just survive, but thrive in this new “age of overwhelm.”
A way for you to finally breathe deep, relax, feel calm, nourished and gain clarity on who you are, what you want and where you want to go.
A way to effortlessly integrate the powerful teachings of my spiritual teachers into your modern life.
I call it...the way of the Urban Monk and I invite you to join us.
We start the course by reseting the "operating system" that may be leading to bad habits and self sabotage. It's all about a healthy mindset that will carry you forward in life and many of us inherited toxic memes (or mental viruses) from our folks.
Resilience and Vitality come from daily actions that we alone have to take. That means setting a mental framework that allows for good behavior and positive habits. In this first week, we examine which habits that need to go and replace them with healthy swaps that we will take on in the next six weeks.
There's no change without energy. Energy comes from the Vitality of our system. This week, we work to optimize diet, exercise, sleep, and mindset to maximize the amount of available energy in our lives.
We'll need this energy to clear out the cobwebs and renew ourselves so we need to invest it forward into our lives. The boost in energy we get this week will be the needed ingredient to power the transformation that's in store for us over the next few weeks. Let's tune up so we can tune in and make some lasting change.
How much time do you normally get to sit around and actually think about things? Most of us have been so busy that there's a mental backlog in our lives. We're going to take some time this week and "chew on" undigested thoughts that have been weighing us down.
Grab your journal as we go through various exercises to clear some mental cobwebs and reconcile where our head is at with our current circumstances. This shutdown has given us some time to catch up on the backlog of mental stagnation and now's the time to get clear headed.
Emotions are hard. We tend to avoid the ones that don't feel good. Fast forward a few decades and we're about to pop. This week, we're going to learn some powerful healing techniques to clear emotional blockages and rid ourselves of the heavy burden of carrying the past around with us.
There are several tools you'll be equipped with this week that'll help you release the pressure so you can feel whole again. Too much charged emotional energy blocks the free flow of energy in our lives. If you've been stuck, this is where we need to mend next.
Hardly anyone is doing spiritual purification practices anymore. This may be why the world looks the way it does. This week, we're going to learn powerful transformational practices that'll help us align with Higher Self and connect back to the Source. This includes forgiveness, atonement, and spiritual cleansing technques.
All practices come from clean lineages that connect with The Once That Breathes Us...without going into any specific denomination or faith. We stay faith-agnostic so everyone can participate and heal.
Now that we've cleared the past and can see through the cobwebs, this week we map out the life we really want and start making plans to take specific action in that direction. We'll examine the specific plants in your "Life Garden" and work to set a plan towards watering them all.
With a solid vision for your future, you now have focus and clarity backed with Vitality to actually get you there. We'll help you make your own plan and commit to taking good care of yourself so your life is a reflection of your inner state- peaceful and abundant.
